Multicultural
Health Initiative
The Multicultural Health Initiative is a program that works to reduce the impact of certain diseases among minority students at the University of South Carolina. The initiative is led by the Multicultural Health Council. The Council is responsible for identifying and addressing minority health disparities through education, campus outreach, testing, and awareness. Some of The Council's activities include blood pressure screening, diabetes education, HIV education and testing, physical activity and obesity programs, and many more. For more information on minority health programs, visit the Multicultural Health Council's page. |
